Giclée Care Guide

White glove service

To avoid transferring dirt and oil, I wear white cotton gloves while handling and packing my art prints to guarantee crisp, clean paper.

Unpacking your print

Every print is carefully packaged in acid free tissue paper and ships in a flat rigid envelope to preserve the integrity of the paper and for easier framing.

Carefully pull the tab on the envelope and remove the print. I highly recommend washing and drying your hands before removing the tissue paper. Due to the nature of 100% cotton paper, it picks up fingerprints, dirt and oils very easily. While I’m happy to exchange prints damaged via transit, I’m not responsible for grubby prints and will not replace it.

Care tips for long lasting color and pristine paper quality

  • Frame your print and display in a temperature and humidity-controlled room (Don’t keep or them in steamy bathrooms, hot kitchens, cold garages, sheds, attics etc etc.)

  • Avoid direct sunlight.

  • Never let liquid touch the print.

  • To store, use only archival grade tissue paper or foam board.

  • Enjoy for years to come!
